I am Claire Murray CEqD, a qualified equine dentist, trained through:

In June 2008 this year I was a lecturer/instructor at the College of Equine Dentistry Australia.

I am a member of the Association for Equine Dental Equilibration (AEDE)

I am committed to regularly traveling overseas to upgrade and keep current with changes in this fast developing profession of full mouth dentistry and I am passionate about raising the standard of equine dentistry within NZ.

Full mouth dentistry concentrates on providing comfort of the tempero-mandibular joint (find out more under articles) and balance within the whole mouth producing happy, healthy horses with that competitive edge and ultimately lower vet and feed bills so the dentistry can easily pay for itself.

My business Equi-Dent Ltd has been in operation since 2003 and is based in North Canterbury. I am available regularly all over the top half of the South Island and in other areas on request. I regularly work with a wide range of horses from paddock mates to top competitive horses, miniatures to large warmbloods, also donkeys and more recently alpacas.
